In this novel Carter becomes involved in the world of soccer, as his relationship with the handsome player, Garry Newburn, develops.

One of my passions, apart from writing, is soccer, or football as we call it in the UK. To me there is obvious homoeroticism in the sport, despite it being fairly fiercely heterosexual, as regards the players and the fans. There is no place for any open hint of homosexuality in the game.

Nevertheless, on a regular basis, we see players shedding their shirts when a goal is scored, close embraces amongst team mates and so on. Then there are the changing room communal baths and showers giving lots of homoerotic material for an author like myself!

So this novel, Carter Plays Ball, was a delight for me to write! I hope it delights you too when you read it.

Interwoven with the sexy scenes, I wrote another Carter mystery. This one concerns the disappearance of a boy, who is bullied and teased by the players. The fearless Carter has to get to the bottom of the mystery, travelling from England to Prague. Of course, being Carter, there are several sexual encounters along the way, with straight, bisexual and gay men.

Carter - Every Man Has His Price is my latest release on the Kindle.

It is the latest release in the series of stories about the English amateur sleuth. Timothy Carter has two sexual obsessions. One is for sex with straight men and the other is for sex with young men.

We also have a homosexual romance between Carter and a straight man who wants gay sex, making the novel, what I hope is an exciting piece of homosexual erotica.

I really enjoyed writing this novel back in 2006 and I edited and published it in Jan 2013. It has, as a main character, a handsome soccer player and soccer is one of my fiercest hobbies, so it was great to combine my interest in soccer with my fiction writing.

Carter is the main police suspect for the murder, so he has to solve the mystery in order to clear his name.
