Pen Names

Want to write  review of an erotic book bought from Amazon?

If you do want to give feedback on a book that you have purchased, but don't want your real name to be displayed, you can assign yourself a "Pen Name" which will appear on any reviews that you do or any Amazon/Kindle forums that you participate in.

To quote Amazon:

What is a Pen Name?

Your Pen Name is the public name you associate with contributions to the Amazon Community, such Customer Reviews, Discussion Posts or Seller Feedback. You are asked to pick a Pen Name the very first time you participate in the community and you can always change it later on this page. This pen name shows on your public profile page and next to any Customer Reviews, Customer Images, Seller Feedback or Customer Discussions posted by you. You have the option of using your real-world name or a pseudonym.

Those links above are to the UK version of Amazon, that I use, but I expect the settings for USA and other countries will be similar.

You can get to it by clicking through:
Your Account/Personalization/Your Public Profile/Edit Your Profile/Edit Name

When in there, also make sure your email address is set to "private" and then save your settings.

I hope this info helps some of you who want to participate in reviews and forums, but don't want their personal details displayed to the public.
